Despite a light lack of a few millimeters on one side of the guard, this weapon get an exceptionnal state of preservation, close to its creation. It is totally straight and whereas the sword is really thin it is also very solid. Meotian people were very famous for their ability to work metal and create awesome solid weapons. This specimen has a total length of a little above 72 cm, so it can be categorized as a long sword. The hilt measures a bit less than 10 cm. The blade is thinner close to the guard and has a diamond shape section. Some very few shocks are barely visible. The width at the guard is 54 mm and the maximum thickness of the sword is 6 mm even if it has an astonishing solidity.
