Roman Gladiator movie prop sword spatha cavalry stunt armor armour legion army

This auction is for one sword only.  Not for both shown.  Both swords are shown only for the purpose of distingquishing between sword handle colors and sword lenghts.  This sale is for the longer Roman Gladiator movie prop spatha gladius stunt sword seen on the left.   The Praetorian sword on the right are distingquished by the black pummel and black guard on the handle.   The blade is rubber with a metal inner core used for combat scenes.  The only real combat scene in the movie where these would have been used is when the Praetorians are sent out to dispatch Maximus and they get into a battle with him.   The Roman cavalry sword or spatha is seen here next to the Praetorian gladius or the right for a size comparison.
