    Description

Picture shows various styles and versions of Roman officer armor that I have made in the past and is meant to only give the viewer an idea of different possibilities.   Custom made arms and armor armour for Collectors, Re-enactors, Sword and Sandal Movie Fans, as well as for actual TV shows and for Movie productions,  Hollywood prop companies, Halloween costumes, Mardi Gras costumes which are mostly based on Ancient festivals any way, Costume Parties, Historical show and tell for Schools and churches (armor of God displays) and for military Historians or even certain items can be made as a gift or used in an award ceremony for military personal.  My custom work can really come into it's own for these kinds of events.  Combining ancient designs and materials for modern army award ceremonies etc.  These pieces are all made one at a time right here in the USA and are not mass produced over seas.  I have also made fantacy armor and womens armor as well.  Most items are made from scratch but a few items may be already in stock.  These items are very expensive and time consuming to produce and if there is one in stock, it has a short shelf time, so if you need or want something for a particular event or date, please remember time is not on your side.  Also remember that during the real Renaissance Festivals, dressing up as a famous Roman was one of the most popular costumes to wear and there are dozens of of Renaissance Festivals held all over the US and Europe, so you would be 100% correct dressed up as a Roman at a modern Renaissance Festival.  I also however do Medieval costumes as well using real arms and armor.  The price that is used on the ebay listing can vary greatly depending on what you want to buy.  I also can help you with custom designing for a Greek or Roman Costume.  The price shown on ebay for most of the armor that is displayed will be less but it can also be more which is actually determined by you when you place an order.  To keep things working on ebay, we will figure out what it is you want exactly.  When this is figured out and known to both of us, then I will list that particular armor on ebay by itself with the buy it now price shown and will send you an email before hand, so that you can buy it as soon as it goes up on ebay.  Shipping cost will also vary greatly which will be determined by what you order rather then by the ebay calculator.  Production time will vary greatly as well before a complete costume can be made or partial costume can be shipped out.  You are looking at a minimum of three months for ones that have to be made which is all the ones you see here.  Production time could take longer however then three months.  Many factors determine completion date.
Besides having two different styles of quality made suit of armor (armour) support stands at 5 each, I also have one cheaper priced one.  The two nicer armor support stand styles are a combination of a pedestal and support mechanism of stained wood and welded square iron painted black.  It has a system of screws and brackets that allow it to be broken down in several pieces and shipped in a box.  This particular stand comes in two styles and shipping for it is .  The one cheaper stand is 5 and is 100% all wood painted black.  The entire piece is all nailed and glued together as one piece and can not be taken apart.  It's shipping cost will be 5 (UPS) and is shipped as is without a box and only slightly wrapped in plastic.  All stands made in America and are not Indian imports.
Another display method is to use one of my mannequins.  I have a particular male manikin style and type that I needed to best showcase my displays, so I  researched into it quit a bit.  I have stayed with this particular one as it works best for my different display purposes as it looks good and is very versital at the same time.  The mannequin cost is 5 and the shipping cost is due to it's heavy weight.  I also do Museum quality mannequins for 50.  I start off by cutting off the original head and replacing it with a more realistic male head.  After the new head is attached I begin my art work over the entire body and work to emphasize the look of a battle hardened veteran of the ancient battle field with scars, an unkept body and a new realism or should I say personality that is impossible to get with the normal pretty boy mannequins.  Even the best normal male mannequin with good masculine features can only go so far.  Shipping for the Museum quality mannequin is as it has to be packed in even larger box's with more protection around it and from it's other parts in order to be sure, it arrives in good order.
