Hoboken cancels public safety meeting, city council meeting after council president’s death

The city of Hoboken has canceled the city council and public safety meetings scheduled for Wednesday night after the death Tuesday of City Council President Jen Giattino.
The city did not announce the cancellations, but a notice on the city website’s meeting portal noted the meetings, scheduled for 5:30 and 7 p.m., have been canceled.
